Louis XIII presents a Conversation with Ang Lee & Anne Hathaway

LOUIS XIII Cognac, the world’s most esteemed spirit from the House of Rémy Martin®, and The Film Foundation, the leading non-profit film preservation organization founded by filmmaker Martin Scorsese, co-hosted an intimate evening of conversation with Academy Award winning director Ang Lee and special guest, Academy Award winning actress Anne Hathaway.

When guests arrived, they were treated to hors’ deurves & champagne.  Louis XIII was encased on display as we anticipated the tasting.

The discussion, which took place in Beverly Hills, featured a tribute to the accomplished director of The Life of Pi, Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Sense and Sensibility and numerous other films, followed by a conversation with Mr. Lee whose body of work reflects the full range of the human condition, and has the power to touch audiences around the world. Later in the evening, Mr. Lee was joined by Ms. Hathaway, who shared her inspirations from working with Mr. Lee on Brokeback Mountain.

Following the conversation, guests enjoyed a private reception and sipped LOUIS XIII Cognac.  Fragrant aromas bring out the smooth taste of the world’s finest cognac.

Tonight’s Creative Encounter event marked the continuation of a three-year partnership between LOUIS XIII and The Film Foundation. LOUISXIII and The Film Foundation are each known for a shared purpose of preserving and protecting our cultural heritage for future generations.  The collaboration between The Film Foundation and LOUIS XIII celebrates film as an art form that stands the test of time.
