CEO of the Christofle Nicolas Krafft demonstrates how to properly saber a champagne bottle. Supermodels Beverly Johnson, Julia Lescova and Genlux Creative Director Stephen Kamifuji were given the opportunity to saber a bottle in style.

Sabrage is the technique of opening/beheading a Champagne bottle with a sword or a Saber. It’s origins have been traced back to the Napoleonic Era and practiced to celebrate victory.

In the words of Napolean — “Champagne! In victory one deserves it; in defeat one needs it.” The event was held at the Christofle store in Beverly Hills.
